What the LinkedIn verification email looks like

LinkedIn's verification email comes from an address at linkedin.com and contains a 6-digit code next to wording like "verification code" or the LinkedIn name. MailSMMO's LinkedIn rule extracts that 6-digit number.

You do not need to open the message: paste the code into the LinkedIn page that asked for it.

When you need a Gmail address for LinkedIn

• Signing up for LinkedIn with an email address.
• Confirming an email you add to a profile.
• Passing the check when LinkedIn sees a sign-in from a new device or location.
• Verifying the email behind a company or recruiter account.

Tips for getting the LinkedIn code on the first try

• Create the order first, then request the code on LinkedIn. Only mail that arrives after the order exists is read, and the order lives for a 10-minute window by default.
• Watch the order on the web or in Telegram, or poll GET /orders/otp about every 2 seconds from your tool. The code appears the moment the mail is received.
• LinkedIn can send a fresh code each time you press resend. Use the most recent one; through the API pass the previous received_at as from to wait for a newer code.
• Complete the LinkedIn step inside the 10-minute window of the order, so open the sign-up page before you create the order.

Price, window and refund for LinkedIn

You pay the price shown at the top of this page when the order is created, for that single order. The default window is 10 minutes, and a code that arrived inside the window can still be read afterwards.

If no code arrives, the money goes back automatically: about 30 seconds after the window ends for Gmail from our own stock, and for Gmail bought from an external supplier as soon as that supplier reports the order expired. An order that received a code is never refunded, and orders cannot be cancelled.

Rent Gmail for LinkedIn through the API
