What the Instagram verification email looks like

Instagram emails its security codes from an address at instagram.com. The code is 6 digits and sits next to phrases such as "is your Instagram code" or "verification code"; MailSMMO's Instagram rule extracts exactly that 6-digit number.

Instagram codes expire quickly on Instagram's side, so type the code into the app or site as soon as it shows up here instead of copying it to a note for later.

When you need a Gmail address for Instagram

• Creating an Instagram account with an email address.
• Confirming the email address in your account settings.
• Answering the verification challenge when you log in from a new device.
• Setting up a new profile where Instagram asks for an email check before continuing.

Tips for getting the Instagram code on the first try

• Create the order first, then request the code on Instagram. Only mail that arrives after the order exists is read, and the order lives for a 10-minute window by default.
• Watch the order on the web or in Telegram, or poll GET /orders/otp about every 2 seconds from your tool. The code appears the moment the mail is received.
• Instagram stock can run low. When it does, turn on the priority tier in your account settings: our own Gmail is used first at the normal price, and only an address bought from an external supplier is charged the priority price.
• Enter the address on Instagram exactly as shown, including the part after the + sign. A mistyped address sends the code to a mailbox you cannot read.

Price, window and refund for Instagram

You pay the price shown at the top of this page when the order is created, for that single order. The default window is 10 minutes, and a code that arrived inside the window can still be read afterwards.

If no code arrives, the money goes back automatically: about 30 seconds after the window ends for Gmail from our own stock, and for Gmail bought from an external supplier as soon as that supplier reports the order expired. An order that received a code is never refunded, and orders cannot be cancelled.

Rent Gmail for Instagram through the API
