What the X (Twitter) verification email looks like
X sends its confirmation emails from an address at x.com, and older flows still use twitter.com. The mail contains a code of 6 to 8 characters next to wording such as "is your X verification code" or "confirmation code".
MailSMMO has a rule for each sender (x.com and twitter.com) that reads a 6 to 8 digit number followed by "is your", "verification" or "confirmation", so both the new and the legacy mail layouts are covered.
When you need a Gmail address for X (Twitter)
- Signing up for X with an email address.
- Confirming the email when you change it in your account settings.
- Passing the confirmation step when X sees a login from a new device.
- Verifying an account again after X asks you to confirm your email.
Tips for getting the X (Twitter) code on the first try
- Create the order first, then request the code on X (Twitter). Only mail that arrives after the order exists is read, and the order lives for a 10-minute window by default.
- Watch the order on the web or in Telegram, or poll GET /orders/otp about every 2 seconds from your tool. The code appears the moment the mail is received.
- Both x.com and twitter.com senders are recognised, so you do not need to check which one X used. Wait for the code instead of retrying.
- X can send a second code if you request one again. To wait for the newer code through the API, pass the previous received_at as the from parameter of /orders/otp.
Price, window and refund for X (Twitter)
You pay the price shown at the top of this page when the order is created, for that single order. The default window is 10 minutes, and a code that arrived inside the window can still be read afterwards.
If no code arrives, the money goes back automatically: about 30 seconds after the window ends for Gmail from our own stock, and for Gmail bought from an external supplier as soon as that supplier reports the order expired. An order that received a code is never refunded, and orders cannot be cancelled.
Rent Gmail for X (Twitter) through the API
Create an order with the service code otp_gmail_x, use the returned Gmail address on the site, then poll for the code. Reading the code needs only the order ID. The full reference is in the API docs.

Frequently asked questions
Is a Gmail address accepted for X (Twitter) signup?
Yes. The address MailSMMO assigns is a real @gmail.com plus-address, not a throwaway domain, and X's verification email reaches it like any other Gmail message.
How long is the X confirmation code?
Between 6 and 8 characters; MailSMMO's rule reads 6 to 8 digits. The code appears on your order as soon as the mail arrives.
Can I rent a Gmail for X through the API?
Yes. Create an order with service=otp_gmail_x, use the returned address on X, then read the code with the order ID. Both calls are in the example above.
How much does a Gmail for X (Twitter) cost?
The live price per order and the stock are shown at the top of this page and on the pricing page. You are charged when the order is created, nothing more.
What if the X (Twitter) code never arrives?
You get your money back automatically. For Gmail from our own stock the refund follows about 30 seconds after the 10-minute window ends; for Gmail from an external supplier it follows that supplier's refund. You do not need to ask.
